Alliants appoint Tim Sheard as VP of Partnerships
Alliants, the provider of customer experience technology and expertise, has appointed Tim Sheard as Vice President of Partnerships.
Alliants is globally renowned for its messaging and concierge SaaS products, favoured by the most revered hospitality brands, including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Mandarin Oriental, Jumeirah, and Nobu Hospitality.
A passionate and focussed professional, Tim joins from Zendesk, a key tech partner in Alliants’ delivery of personalized messaging and conversational CRM solutions.
Tim, based in Manchester, England, said: “I've been working with Alliants for half a decade and during that time, I've had the opportunity to hear first-hand from our customers how the Alliants team and solution have delivered seismic change to their businesses. Partners are always a critical part of that solution. We literally couldn't deliver for our customers without them and I'm excited to continue building out our Partner Network in the coming months.”
Commenting on the current evolution of the hotel technology marketplace, Tim said: “Hotels, like all industries, are at a technology inflection point. I've been working in technology for more than 20 years and I truly believe we are at the dawn of a new age with globalisation, AI, and automation. Whilst many industries race to try and remove humans from their call centres and front-line teams, it is a very different problem for hotels and hospitality.”
On the changing hospitality consumer, he added: “Gen Z is growing up. They love to travel and they love to share and interact on social platforms. The industry is going to have to adapt quickly to interact with them on the channel and device of their choice, but still make that feel personal, human, and on-brand.”
