What's the problem?

Hotel payment systems built for front-desk card swipes no longer match how hotels operate. Chargebacks now cost an average of $25–$30 per case in fees alone (Elavon, 2025), and global volume is projected to reach 337 million transactions by 2026 (Mastercard, 2023). Alliants Payments closes this gap by tokenising the guest's card before it enters the hotel's systems and routing every charge through one integration layer. How does Alliants Payments work?

Alliants Payments connects the hotel's PMS to a secure, tokenised payment flow covering the full guest journey, from card capture before arrival to final settlement at checkout.

Pre-arrival digital card capture: Hotels send guests a secure payment link by email, SMS, or the Alliants Guest App before arrival. The guest enters card details once through a PCI Level 1 compliant form. The card is then tokenised immediately.

PCI level 1 tokenisation from day one: Guest credit card details are tokenised at the point of capture, before data enters the hotel's property systems. The hotel stores a secure token, not the raw card number. This reduces PCI compliance scope.

3D secure applied where it matters: Alliants Payments supports 3D Secure 2.0 for card-not-present transactions. The system applies verification based on card scheme requirements, transaction risk profile, and the hotel's own policies.

Reconcile with ease: Settlement data from the payment service provider reconciles against the PMS folio records. Finance teams receive a clean audit trail of authorisations, charges, and settlements without so much manual reconciliation.
