Alliants worked with the Department of Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) and British Tourist Authority Board through 2017 and 2018 on the design and solution selection of the largest digital change for British tourism.
To deliver a Digital platform that enabled Great Britain to stay competitive as a destination in the rapidly growing global tourism industry by enabling the country wide range of tourism products to travel companies and distribution agents and regional marketing organisations.
We identified a target customer journey that would increase the value of tourism and its distribution across the UK, conducted an extensive (Government process approved) RFP and assisted in the selection of a solution provider.
To revolutionise through innovation and by transforming the way products, particularly those without a feasible international channel, are brought to market. This Business Case proposed the technology solution and how it could be delivered at a national level instead of at a distributed regional level. The Rollout of TX-GB is currently in progress across the country.
